Tom has specialised in civil disputes since 2012 and been advocating in the County Courts and High Court since 2017,
working at well known personal injury firms in the City of London. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 2020 and transferred to the Bar in 2025.
In civil courts, he possesses a significant amount of advocacy experience across many different types of hearing.
Ranging from small claims, fast track, intermediate track and multi track. Tom is developing a practice in the magistrates courts, particularly in motoring offences.
In his career as a Solicitor, he was ranked within costs litigation in the Legal 500 as a 'Rising Star' and in Chambers and Partners as an 'Associate to Watch'.

Tom advocated at the first instance hearings in Ho v Adelekun and Yirenkyi v MoD,
leading to significant appeals on two key aspects of the Jackson reforms, namely QOCS and costs budgeting.
Tom has provided industry wide training sessions on many aspects of civil litigation and contributes to practice notes on Lexis and Practical Law.

Tom attended Manchester University, graduating in 2010 with a Upper Second Class with Honours in BSc Management. He then undertook the GDL and LPC.
