Erimus Chambers - Tenancy
Erimus Chambers are offering barristers of at least 3 years call an opportunity for tenancy that operates differently to a traditional set. We are happy to talk to any established practitioners who are attracted by our business model as we are covering more criminal, employment, family and civil work.

We are a virtual chambers. This allows us to keep costs very low to compete in this changing and challenging time at the bar. We charge no rent as such and all clerking services are met by each barrister paying a percentage of collected fees on a monthly basis. Each individual barrister receives a monthly invoice with itemised statements and reports.

We appreciate that cash flow is critical, therefore we bill promptly and chase and collect aged debt.
We will proactively market you to our client base and with your help forge new lasting relationships with clients that require your expertise.

All members of chambers are allocated a free MS Outlook email address with access to email, online diary, contacts and tasks. A free version of MS Outlook is available to download if needed or an online portal can be used. All chambers' software is bespoke in-house built systems so there are no expensive license fees for our members to pay. Each barrister populates their diary with their availability and booking details are instantly to hand. The email service is via Microsoft Exchange so most mobile phones / portable devices can also be configured to enable the above services. Usual daily interaction with the clerks via the telephones is not just the norm but positively encouraged !

It is now possible for barristers to work through more than one set of chambers and some of our members enjoy the freedom and extra possibilities this arrangement brings. Our 'no rent' structure means that our members are not penalised with hefty chambers' contributions when they are unable to work through this set.

All enquiries will be treated confidentially. Initial contact should be made by calling chambers on the main number or by sending an email to the Senior Clerk. (email address above)

Unfortunately we cannot offer pupillage at the moment.
